Camp Fire Columbia is a youth development organization with a mission to build caring, confident youth and future leaders. Young people want to shape the world and Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are.
In February, Patrick Guild, one of The AV Department’s talented videographers, worked with Swaim Strategies to produce an appeal video for Camp Fire Columbia. This video tells the inspiring story of Sharon Gomez and how she was able to find her “spark”. We interviewed Sharon and her family in their home and discovered how she was able to transform her passion for photography into a life changing experience with the help of Camp Fire. Patrick was able to capture beautiful shots that made the story come alive. The video was featured during Spark, Camp Fire Columbia’s annual gala in March. The event was a huge success and we are proud to be a part of their incredible event.
Each year, Camp Fire Columbia’s programs directly serve more than 3,000 kids ages 5-18 across an eight-county area, including the greater Portland metro region, plus thousands more children and families through partnerships and special projects.
