Last Fall, we had the pleasure of working with the staff at the Tuality Healthcare Foundation and ¡Salud! to create an appeal video for their annual auction. ¡Salud! was created by a group of Oregon winery owners and Tuality Healthcare physicians to address the hurdles faced by vineyard workers who cannot meet their basic healthcare needs. Our videographer, Chris Peterson, took a trip to the rural area of Washington County to capture the story of Estello Ortiz-Nino. She shared her experience growing up in a migrant household and how she was introduced and inspired by the work that ¡Salud! does in the community.
During the shoot, we had great weather which allowed us to fly our drone and capture beautiful imagery from the air. This footage, along with terrific interviews and b-roll from the Tuality and ¡Salud! Team Members, came together for a story that was not only moving, but also informative. We are so appreciative of the work that ¡Salud! is doing and are thankful for the opportunity to tell their story through video.
OHSU Tuality Healthcare’s ¡Salud! Services program is funded 100% by ¡Salud! The Oregon Pinot Noir Auction. Held each November, the auction showcases rare, premium Pinot Noirs created by more than forty of Oregon’s top wineries exclusively for the cause.
The AV Department event production team supported the auction which featured two sold-out events over two days at vineyards in Oregon’s Willamette Valley: The Big Board Auction & Pinot Party and the Grand Dinner and Live Auction Gala. The 2019 event raised more than $1 million to provide healthcare and outreach services to Oregon’s vineyard workers and their families.
