About the Positions

We review resumes year-round to fill the following full-time positions. These AV jobs are not AV Freelance, AV Install, Film, TV, Radio, IT or Multimedia positions. The live event industry is a lifestyle. That means odd hours, weekend work, changing situations, and a team-based culture.

Live Event Audiovisual Technicians

Live Event Audiovisual Technicians support our client’s technical needs. They staff live events by providing excellent customer service, setting and striking AV equipment, running the tech table, organizing workflow, and responding to client needs and requests. A wide range of experience in live events (corporate, hotel, nonprofit) is ideal. If you are a little on the under-experienced side and think you are a good fit for The AV Department culture (see the five questions at the top of the page), we are interested in meeting you. We have multiple Live Event AV Tech positions available and cultural fit is more important than any other factor. Bonus points if you have an interest and aptitude in streaming and media/video production.

Production Manager/Planner

If you already have live event AV experience and strong organizational skills, Production Manager/Planner might be a great role for you. This position involves quoting, planning, and implementing audiovisual and streaming production services. We are looking for AV pros with foundational skills in either lighting, projection, or sound who have superior interpersonal skills. Your talent for working with everyone cannot be emphasized enough. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their experience in client and crew management and their understanding of media. Are you ready to work in the new world of AV and adapt to live events and streaming environments – the new normal known as hybrid events?
