Spotlight: 4D Recovery The Descent
Our media team reached new heights this summer when we joined our long-time client 4D Recovery for The Descent!
“The Descent [is] a peer-to-peer fundraising event aiming to raise essential funds and shine a spotlight on our mission. By uniting communities, stakeholders, and advocates, the Descent informs and inspires others about our urgent work to combat substance abuse among youth. With each step taken during the Descent, participants become ambassadors for change, spreading hope and empowerment. Join us as we descend into action, raising funds, and spreading awareness to drive positive change and pave the way for a brighter, healthier future for Oregon’s youth.”

As participants dared to rappel 15 stories down the side of the Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland, The AV Department videographers Chris Peterson and Whitney Gomes suited up and clipped in to film the two-day fundraising event. KOIN 6 morning anchor Travis Teich was also on site, reporting live as he rappelled the building.
To execute The Descent, 4D Recovery partnered with Over The Edge, an adventure experience company with a passion for positive impact. Since 2004, Over the Edge has supported non-profit organizations in running unique and exciting urban rappelling fundraising events.
